Day 7 - Vital Breathing

Expand your diaphragm so your belly sticks out and make sure you are not introducing tension into your shoulders, they should not get closer to your ears as it inhibits full use of the diaphragm.

Inhale for a count of 1
Hold for a count of 4
Exhale for a count of 2
Repeat 10 times.

  • What changes have occurred in your body?
    I feel relaxed, slightly light headed and a bit sleepy. I feel I need to do this a bit more in order to get the technique right.

2 In what way did you find the challenge useful?
Remember even if the challenge was negative this is an excellent learning for yourself.
It seems to be a good way to just stop and slow down. I don't do that very often so this might be a useful way of introducing that into my daily routine
